Not sure where the hate for this place is coming from, but based on my experience, they get a couple big thumbs up! As a specialty bike shop, you’re definitely going to pay more than if you’re picking up an old Huffy at Bed Bath and Beyond (Who I just learned actually sell those bikes now) But in the world of bikes, you absolutely get what you pay for. Upon entering, the bikes take up about 2/3 of the store and they’re literally floor to ceiling. They sell everything from high end road and mountain bikes, to balance bikes for kiddos. Trek seems to be the predominance of what they sell, with a few other options interspersed. They have plenty of bike gear including helmets, shoes, jerseys and lots of it alludes to the bearded monkey! The guys working here are very helpful and knowledgeable about all things bike related. Definitely worth your time to come check it out!

I'll never go to any other bicycle shop besides Bearded Monkey again. Lance and his crew are the best in town and maybe the state. If you buy here and have your bike serviced from them you will be very happy.

Stand up guys that will work with you and take care of your needs no matter what you need. Please understand that bike service is much like having your car worked on. Sometimes unexpected things come up and you have to wait longer, pay more, etc. If you're clear about expectations and needs they will get it done, even if it costs them an extra penny.
